Paddy Pimblett took home a meager pay despite his superstar status

The road towards the top in UFC isn’t easy, and it takes a lot of hard work and determination to even break into the ranks. Every fighter longs to become a marquee name in the business, but not everyone can rise up to that level. Fighters have to start from the bottom and even though some of them are carrying huge hype, the pay definitely doesn’t scale up in the same manner.

In a recent conversation with The Dave Portnoy Show With Eddie & Co, popular fighters, Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann shed light on their respective pay. Undoubtedly, Pimblett was a key attraction of the event, and yet the fighter was only rewarded 24k. He said,” Yeah 12 and 12, oh yeah 12 to show 12 to win”

McCann was also quizzed about her pay, and she stated that every fighter has to pay their dues. It takes a long time to scale up the ranks, and with each fight, the pay also grows. She said,” You have to pay your dues, but I will tell you one thing dave, Dana would be getting the money out for our boy Patrick now,” she continued,” I think it was 40 and 40, that’s my 8th fight. Paddy will probably get paid more than me now, with his next deal. “
