

Former UFC fighter Paige VanZant is now making enormous waves in the world of pro wrestling. However, the fighter has not forgotten her MMA roots and showed her love for one of UFC’s greatest personalities, Chael Sonnen, in a recent story she shared via Instagram.
VanZant posted a clip of one of Sonnen’s most iconic quotes, which he said in a press conference leading up to his fight against Michael ‘The Count’ Bisping.

In the video, we see Sonnen sitting with a replica of the UFC championship belt, keeping it in front of him like he was the champion, although he was not. When the reporter asked Sonnen why he has a belt in front and when he won it. Sonnen said, ” Well, for those of you who can’t see, this is the championship title of which I took from Anderson Silva. In this country, possession is nine-tenths of the law. Finders keepers, losers weepers. If he wants it back, he knows where he can find it.”
To that Michael Bisping said, “I think you can get them on eBay for about 29.99.” This cracked up the audience and the UFC president Dana White as well.
Sonnen replied, ” Maybe I can ask you a question. Maybe I can ask 3 of Michael Bisping. First, Whatcha gonna do, when you know who? How ya gonna deal, with the man of steel? How will you react to Sonnen’s attack? Tune in on the 28th! 8 p.m. Eastern Time! You’ll find out who the real world champion is.”

Sonnen is undoubtedly one of the greatest fight promoters in the UFC’s history and Paige VanZant also acknowledged this by dubbing him as a “legend” on her Instagram story.
Did Chael Sonnen ever win a UFC championship title?
The UFC icon, Chael Sonnen, has never won a UFC championship title in his life, despite being one of the top contenders in the race for the title. Sonnen has defeated fighters who have been UFC champions, including Michael Bisping and Maurício “Shogun” Rua.
