Conor McGregor is arguably the biggest name in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts. ‘The Notorious’ has captured the attention of the masses around the entire world. A lot of celebrities often speak of McGregor too. In a similar incident, famous comedian Bill Burr spoke about McGregor’s famous post-fight speech at UFC 264 and seemed to defend him.

In a video uploaded, Bill Burr can be heard saying, “Your wife is in my Dm’s…..And Dustin said yeah, he was grabbing my gloves. He’s a dirtbag. I mean that’s the first time I felt like, I saw like. Because I usually say all kinds of crazy s**t. And then afterward they are so nice.”

He further added, “That’s the only time, I can’t really remember where it sounded like pre-fight hype. Now, the two of them are the greatest promoters ever, but I like people going he went too far, he don’t say things about his wife, it’s what the f**k he talking about.”

They say all kinds of crazy or, like you know; he said he was going to murder me. It’s like, well, he didn’t say he was going to eat your children. He didn’t say he was going to f**k you until you love me. You know there’s a lot much crazier s**t that has been said.”

Bill Burr used the famous phrase “I will eat your children”, said by Mike Tyson, to defend ‘The Notorious.’ While it seemed as if Burr defended McGregor, things did not seem like that a while ago. In fact, Burr had once even insulted the former UFC two-division champion.

Bill Burr took a dig at Conor McGregor

Speaking of that fight, Burr said that he does not watch much of the UFC. He also mentioned that he is part Irish and spoke about Conor.

Burr further said that both he and McGregor got red hair and that is one reason he wants to root for him. Burr said, “I wanna root for this guy but he’s such a c**t.”

Conor McGregor never reacted to these statements. Not only did McGregor win the fight against Mendes, but he also defeated Jose Aldo and Eddie Alvarez for the UFC featherweight and lightweight championships, respectively, becoming the first fighter to hold two belts simultaneously.
