UFC middleweight fighter Paulo Costa is using his social media to good use in the past few days. He has become a fan favorite with the roasts, memes, and verbal battles he’s having on Twitter. He recently started an online feud with Derek Brunson, before moving on to his next target, Luke Rockhold.

However, it was Rockhold who started this beef with Costa with a strong allegation. While responding to the UFC light heavyweight fighter, Costa made an odd claim about Vitor Belfort being his biological father.
I suspect in RockhOLD minds all big Brazilian is on steroids . Maybe he has bad memories about it pic.twitter.com/hMNsVVbkou

After Rockhold’s allegations, people started drawing comparisons between the physique and build of Costa and Belfort. And Costa being Costa, took it a step further to make a hilarious and wild claim.

He even narrated the story of how his mother met Belfort and had many believe it as well. If ‘Borrachinha’ is to be believed, ‘The Phenom’, 45, would have just been 15-year-old when he became a father. Knowing Costa’s history of trolling, it is most likely a weirdly constructed joke, which surprised many UFC fans.

Notably, Vitor Belfort has previously defeated Luke Rockhold inside the UFC. Back in 2013, ‘The Phenom’ handed Rockhold a first-round knockout.

Paulo Costa plans to stay in the middleweight division
‘Borrachinha’ has had a rough last two fights after a brilliant start to his UFC career. The #4 ranked middleweight fighter lost a title bout to Israel Adesanya, and then to Marvin Vettori last October. He had to fight ‘The Italian Dream’ in the light heavyweight division because he couldn’t make 185lbs in time.

This angered the UFC president Dana White, who openly criticized him and announced a 20% penalty on his fight purse. He also directed Costa to stay in the light heavyweight division in the future, but Costa doesn’t agree.

According to Costa, the only reason he couldn’t make weight for his fight against Vettori was a bicep injury. He revealed his desire to stay in the 185lbs division and claimed he knew the “magics to make 185.”
