T.J. Dillashaw is all set to return to action to face Cory Sandhagen at UFC Vegas 32. As Dillashaw will step inside the Octagon after over 2 years, fans are really excited to see how he does. Now, as Dillashaw prepares to take on Sandhagen, a picture of him using his Hyperbaric chamber has surfaced, courtesy of a tweet by Jed I. Goodman.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has been a part of medical science for quite some time. However, recently, many fighters, including T.J. Dillashaw, have started using it as a part of recovery in MMA.

Many UFC fighters use the chamber not only to help in healing but as a part of their regular training regime. As when an athlete works their muscles hard enough, it becomes deoxygenated and fills with lactic acid. Using a hyperbaric chamber helps flush the muscle with oxygen and helps in a speedy recovery.

Dillashaw has been training very hard for his fight with Sandhagen. Therefore, one can only hope that Dillashaw is using the chamber for recovery and is not suffering from any pre-fight injury.

While Dillashaw is coming into the fight after 2 years, the fighter suffered a loss in his last fight against former UFC ‘champ-champ’ Henry Cejudo. After that fight, the fighter tested positive for a performance-enhancing drug and was banned for 2 years.
Therefore, Dillashaw had to vacate his UFC bantamweight title in March 2019. Now, as he is set to return to action, the fighter would love to get a victory and challenge for the title again.
