Jake Paul has gone from being a Disney star to a YouTuber to a professional boxer, all before turning 25. He may be a polarizing character, but no one can deny he is an outstanding businessman. From selling out merch to selling out stadiums, he has done it all.

His latest passion, boxing, also seems to have attracted a lot of fresh eyeballs on him. Before going pro in the sport, he fought against a fellow YouTuber Deji. The Problem Child went on to make his pro boxing debut against another YouTuber as well. Next, he upped the difficulty level by fighting a professional NBA player, Nate Robinson.

All three fights were in Jake’s favor, with Nate’s KO ability acting as the cherry on top. Furthermore, Paul decided to fight a professional MMA fighter, Ben Askren. This triggered a lot of people in the MMA community. This list included former Venator FC Welterweight champion and current No. 2 in the UFC middleweight rankings, Marvin Vettori.

Marvin seemed annoyed by the fellow MMA fighter after he accepted the fight against Jake. Additionally, he also showed interest in fighting Paul. This was before Paul fought Tyron Woodley.

After defeating Woodley in a previous match, the two again squared off for a rematch on December 18, 2021, at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. Consequently, this triggered Marvin and he tweeted, “Jake, can we go at it? I wear 12 you wear 6 ounces @jakepaul”

Marvin Vettori’s reaction after the fight

Jake Paul started the second fight slowly. He suffered from a huge cut on the forehead caused by some head-butting. However, Paul showed his grit and strength by landing a perfect overhand right in the sixth round, knocking Woodley down.

Following Tyron’s second defeat, Vettori (18-5) reacted by sharing his embarrassment, “So fu*king embracing I feel like I gotta do it for the MMA world, pick one handicap @jakepaul and I’ll fight you with it lol”
