The constant jabs troubled Teixeira, but the real damage was done by the head kicks that Teixeira had to take. To Glover Teixeira’s credit, he didn’t let Jamahal Hill get away with a knock-out or submit him. The 43-year-old took a lot of damage from Hill but survived the length of the fight. Teixeira was bleeding profusely with a big cut on his right eyebrow, but he kept going on and Hill had to earn his belt with everything he had in his gas tank.
