One should have a certain level of confidence to say such things, and McGregor has repeatedly proven that he has loads of it.
“I am in myself, my own belt. It doesn’t matter weight; it doesn’t matter if it’s the featherweight, the lightweight, the welterweight. It’s the McGregor belt, so that’s it, I’m fighting for my own belt,” He said.
McGregor even talks about how he wants the belt to be, and his description of the belt seems to match his boisterous personality.
“I I feel it’s time to break out this baby for the next fight. I ask the UFC to please create The McGregor belt. I suggest rose gold and rubies. Think patek rare.”
