James Krause vs. The UFC: What happened?
On the 5th of November, the Featherweight fighter Darrick Minner fought Sha Yilan. Subsequently, post-match, the promotion was informed of a suspicious betting pattern being observed; as the strings began to untwist James Krause’s name came up. As fate would have it, Krause is also Minner’s coach. Following this, a full-fledged investigation has been ordered and on November 18th the Nevada State Athletic Commission canceled Krause’s license until the investigation is over. The UFC too released a statement regarding the same. The promotion has further released Minner from the organization and has asked all the other fighters to leave the gym or else they won’t be allowed to compete at the UFC events.
