UFC middleweight Sean Strickland is slowly becoming a fan favorite as the days go by. Fans love him for his cynical sense of humor and the fighter is pretty good on the microphone too.

Strickland has been an absolute menace on social media. The fighter shares whatever he wishes to and due to this his Instagram account was taken down. After making himself another handle, ‘Tarzan’ is back on Instagram and is doing what he does best.

The fighter recently took a dig at the American standup comedian and actor, Chris Rock. He posted a snippet of a scene from the movie ‘The Other Guys’ in reference to the incident that went down between Will Smith and Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscar awards ceremony.

In the scene, a married woman named Christinith talks about being in bed with Allen (played by Will Ferrell) in front of her husband, and the husband does not seem angry about it. In fact, he called him a ‘Lucky Dog.’

However, when Terry (played by Mark Wahlberg) gets her name wrong, her husband gets furious at him. The husband slams Terry and calls him ‘an idiot’ for mispronouncing his wife’s name.

Strickland posted this in reference to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars for cracking a joke about his wife, whereas he didn’t publically shame August Alsina for his involvement with his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

What’s next for Sean Strickland?

‘Tarzan’ stands fourth in the UFC’s middleweight rankings as of 23rd April, 2o22. The American fighter recently bagged a win against Jack Hermansson at UFC Vegas 47 this year, adding another impressive victory to his record. However, he seemed very unlike himself in the fight and was criticized by many for the lack of action in the fight.

Sean will next enter the octagon against the newest UFC sensation, Alex Pereira at UFC 277. The Brazilian announced his arrival in style at UFC 268 against Andreas Michailidis. He knocked out his Greek opponent with a massive flying knee. His last fight was at UFC Fight Night 203 and won convincingly via a unanimous decision.
