Joe Rogan is not only a pioneer in the podcasting space but continues to have perhaps the biggest podcast in the English-speaking world. And further proof of this dominance came yet again after the latest rankings for top podcasts on Spotify were released. In the latest rankings, the 56-year-old’s ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ has retained his top spot on the Spotify US podcast list.

This was followed by two of the biggest American conservative personalities’. In second place was Tucker Carlson‘s ‘The Tucker Carlson Show’, who started his podcast after exiting Fox News last year, by far the biggest cable news channel in America. In fact, his podcast had gotten a boost in popularity and rankings after his appearance on the JRE in #2138, reaching second place the following few weeks before falling out of the top five soon after. However, Tucker’s podcast seems to have built up some good steam as he is back in the top three.

In third place is a relative newcomer, and conservative commentator Candace Owens’ ‘Candace’ podcast, who left ‘The Daily Wire’ earlier this year to start her own platform. And she seems to have found massive success right away. This did not go down well with the Reddit users on Rogan’s subreddit, who discussed these rankings in a post there.

Fans react to Joe Rogan, Carlson, and Owens topping podcast charts

The color commentator never fails to entertain his fans, be it during UFC fights or his ventures. One fan found the rankings to be “Very Cool!” Another was of a similar opinion and felt the rankings were ‘amazing’: “LOL this is amazing! God bless America!” One (undoubtedly liberal) Redditor felt this meant the conservatives were winning the culture war. “Joe, Tucker Carlson and Candace at 1, 2 & 3 is hilarious. The culture war is being lost.”

Another took a sarcastic shot at Rogan, simply observing: “Great company there.” One user wanted to see former President Donald Trump on the podcast so that Joe Rogan could ask him his uniquely Joe Rogan questions: “I can’t wait until Joe finally has Trump on the podcast this Fall, so we can finally address the #1 issue that is dividing the USA: Which is worse… being eaten by a shark or electrocuted by a boat’s battery?”

Another was exasperated at the top podcasts list but did express his (occasional) appreciation for Rogan: “Wow. What a sh** lineup. Appreciate Joe here n there tho.” One Redditor felt that the streaming platform may have put its thumb on the scale in favor of Rogan: “Don’t doubt but but not surprised Spotify would have their homeboy #1.”

One fan correctly predicted that a lot of people in Rogan’s subreddit would be ‘upset’ to see the rankings: “That’s going to make a lot of people in this sub upset.” Another recalled Candace Owen’s JRE appearance, where the UFC commentator’s displeasure with how she conducted herself was apparent: “Candace might be the only JRE guest I ever saw Joe get legit mad at.”

All in all, both the sarcasm and humor among the fans are both palpable and hilarious. But we are interested to know your thoughts! State them below in the comments.
