Harris has followed notable fighters like Khabib Nurmagomedov and Kamaru Usman during their fight camps and filmed insights into their lives and careers.

He pulled back the curtain on Khabib Nurmagomedov’s sincerity when he revealed how Nurmagomedov never liked anyone calling him the greatest ever. Fans of ‘The Eagle’ are well aware that he believes that his work should speak for itself. According to Harris, Nurmagomedov was humble throughout his entire tenure working with Nurmagomedov and his team.

Khabib Nurmagomedov: Can he be labeled as the ‘GOAT’

Even though Khabib Nurmagomedov doesn’t prefer being openly touted as the greatest, his fans and MMA pundits alike love to engage in such debates. He is often judged alongside the likes of Georges St-Pierre and Jon Jones, who are known as legacy champions in the UFC.

However, Khabib Nurmagomedov only has a fraction of the title defenses as the aforementioned stars. Before retiring at UFC 254, he had defended his belt thrice against the likes of Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier, and Justin Gaethje. While those names are nothing to scoff at, the lack of double-digit title defenses hurt his overall case.

Chiefly, it’s his utter dominance inside the octagon that has led fans to anoint him as the MMA GOAT. Be it Georges St-Pierre’s controversial win over Johny Hendricks or Jon Jones’ split decision nod over Dominick Reyes, Nurmagomedov always left no doubt. Until facing Conor McGregor in 2018, he had never even lost a single round.
