When Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson calls someone ‘wild’, you better believe it. After all, the former MMA superstar is something of an authority on the topic, having been an absolute menace in his youth. With his zany sense of humor and willingness to say anything, no matter how politically incorrect, combined with his wild antics, Jackson was untameable.

But after being on a podcast episode with the legendary Nate Diaz, ‘Rampage’ couldn’t help but commend the Stockton native. The duo appeared recently on the HJR Podcast where Nate was his bombastic, s–t-talking self. One of the most discussed moments of the podcast was when Diaz talked about why he has a proclivity for throwing water bottles at people he doesn’t like.

“I stay hydrated. I always have water on me, no matter where I’m at. You should see next to my bed in my room, I’ve got fucking 15 waters from every night. Then someone starts popping off, [I throw the bottle] like shut up, bi—,” Diaz said with the same hilarious soft-spoken nonchalance as he says everything.

But that was only one of the many memorable moments the Californian had on the podcast. So you can understand why Jackson wrote “Bro is wild 😂,” about Diaz on his X account. Game, as they say, recognizes game. And that couldn’t be more true in the case of ‘Rampage’s ‘compliment’ for Diaz.

Along with speaking about his favorite weapon of choice, how he got into marijuana, and essentially calling the younger fighters trash, Diaz also found time to reveal his interesting future plans. The superstar spoke about his future UFC plans and revealed who he would like to fight next.

Nate Diaz has three names he wants to fight upon his UFC return

Nate Diaz left the UFC after fighting out his contract in 2022. The American has remained active in combat sports, boxing Jake Paul, and rematching Jorge Masvidal in the ring since then. But now, after a three-year break from the UFC, Diaz has had enough rest. The former BMF contender wants to come back to the UFC, but only for the right guy.

What’s your perspective on:

Will Nate Diaz's return to the UFC be legendary, or just another wild claim from the Stockton native?

Have an interesting take?

“I plan on going back to the UFC. If they have me, I would like to go back and f—ing whoop someone’s a– there. I’m not fighting in there because there’s nobody to fight really. It’s kinda slow rolling… Me and him for sure got unfinished business. Got to happen,” Diaz said. Him? Yeah, that’s Conor McGregor.

Indeed, Diaz and McGregor have fought twice and have one win each. So there is some unfinished business there. But then again, most don’t think ‘The Notorious’ is ever going to return to the Octagon again, so there is not much chance that fight happens. But in good news for fans, Diaz is also willing to fight Max Holloway and Ilia Topuria, both of whom are fighting at the highest level.

On the other hand, Diaz has been out of the Octagon for the past couple of years and has lost both the boxing matches he has been in since then. So even if he re-signs with the UFC, there is little chance Diaz will get to fight either Topuria or Holloway straight away. Will he make a comeback worth his reputation? Or is it just another of those “wild” claims Jackson ‘complimented’ him for? Let us know in the comments below!
