It had been a week since Raja Jackson, the son of UFC icon Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, brutally attacked wrestler Stuart ‘Syko Stu’ Smith in Los Angeles. Despite livestreaming the awful footage of the assault, no arrest has been made. The silence of law enforcement, along with Rampage’s own actions, has pushed fans to the brink. And to make matters worse, instead of responding to the outrage, Rampage has leaned even harder into entertainment, sparking an entirely new wave of backlash online.
The former UFC champion recently shared a poster of himself dressed as Batman, joking in the caption of the Instagram post: “NGL i didn’t think the Batman costume through 🤦🏽♂️😂 24 hour stream was a bit much for ya booyyyy.” The post, which was linked to a marathon Kick stream, showed Rampage in high spirits, in stark contrast to the looming felony battery investigation against his son.
As a result, fans instantly pointed out the irony of Rampage Jackson enjoying content streaming, as his son is under public criticism for assault. Some reactions were blunt, claiming Raja Jackson would never face jail time. “He won’t be. You guys just got duped and have been feeding traffic to the s— kick streams,” one fan wrote, echoing the frustration.

Another said, “It’s ok to commit crimes as long as you stream it now.” Many believe the outrage is meaningless because no charges have been filed. “Anyone with a brain that was speaking out of emotions knew it was going to be like that,” wrote a fan. Others simply laughed it off, saying, “Dude is not getting arrested 🤣.”
Then came the more cynical crowd, who had fully accepted the idea that the entire incident was staged. “It’s kayfabe,” one commenter stated, referring to the scripted aspect of professional wrestling. Others responded with similar sentiments: “It is made-up wrestling BS.” Another fan went on to say, “I wholeheartedly believe this was a work to get Raja into pro wrestling and make waves.” And for some, the answer was obvious: “Duh. All work. Internet got played.”

For now, Stuart Smith is still recovering from severe brain injuries while his family seeks community support, but online attention has shifted elsewhere. Rampage’s Batman skits and Kick broadcasts appear to have drowned out the criticism, leading fans to believe one of two things: either Raja Jackson has avoided consequences altogether, or the entire ordeal was part of a bigger show. But for now, Raja Jackson enjoys his freedom, while another wrestler claims his life has been ruined because of this viral moment.
Terminated wrestler blames the Raja Jackson incident for severe life consequences
The shockwaves of Raja Jackson’s attack did not end with Stuart Smith’s hospitalization. AJ Mana, who had been working at Rikishi’s KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy, now alleges that the viral footage has destroyed his entire career. For the unaware, during Raja’s Kick Steam, AJ Mana could be seen encouraging the MMA fighter to give Stu a ‘receipt’ following a prior altercation between the two.

Now, connecting his downfall directly to the TMZ clip, Mana believes he’s paying the price for being caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. Speaking on the F Y’all Podcast, the pro wrestler said that he was immediately fired when academy officials found his involvement in the incident harmful to their reputation. “I got a call from my f—— job, ‘We saw the TMZ video. You’re an accessory to an attempted murder. We gotta let you go,” he said.
With that, his role at the academy ended, and his wrestling career seemed to vanish overnight. As he frankly stated, “I can’t wrestle anymore.” The consequences have not been restricted to Mana’s firing. Wrestlers close to the academy believe the incident has sparked wider instability, with pupils quitting courses, higher-ups forcing others to stay silent on the matter, and talks of WWE distancing itself from the school. For Mana, however, it is personal and immediate: his livelihood, identity, and dream career have all been taken away as a result of a chaotic event that was never supposed to happen.
