The MMA world was taken by wonder, as Raul Rosas Jr. secured his first win at the UFC 282, in his debut. The high schooler became the youngest fighter in the UFC to win a bout. Moreover, his wish during the post-fight interview was what caught people’s attention after the fight. The teen warrior declared that he wished to get his mother a minivan, and hence wished for a bonus. Surprisingly, the UFC president, Dana White, later made sure that the boy had his wish fulfilled.

The fact was confirmed after the renowned reporter, Mike Bohn, tweeted that Dana White promised to give all the ten fighters a bonus in their paycheck. Without a doubt, the act made the fighters jump high with joy.

Dana White fulfills the young fighter’s wish

Right after his spectacular win, Raul Rosas Jr. took hold of Joe Rogan’s microphone and made a wish for $50,000 to Dana White. He said, “Dana, 50 Gs. I would ask Santa Claus, but I don’t know if Santa Claus can give it to me right now after this fight. But hey, I need that 50 gs, so I can buy my mother a minivan and she can give me a ride to the PI.”

Rosas Jr. confirmed his wish for a bonus in the post-fight press-conference, as well. During the press-conference, the youngest UFC fighter said, “Yeah, I asked for the 50K bonus, so I can buy my mother a minivan and she can give me a ride to the PI, finally.” 

However, the 18-year-old fighter’s wish came true when the UFC president agreed and declared that every fighter who got a finish will get a bonus. The senior reporter, Mike Bohn, recently tweeted, “Dana White says all 10 fighters who got a finish at #UFC282 will be awarded $50,000 bonuses.”

Furthermore, Rosas Jr. declared that he wished to get back into the Octagon as soon as possible. The fighter even confirmed that he wanted a fight after a week. However, if he could not, he said that he would definitely fight in January.

The youngest fighter in the UFC became the youngest winner in the history of UFC by submitting Jay Perrin at UFC 282. The youngster has a record of 7-0 in mixed martial arts. However, he surprised the MMA world as he secured a victory in his debut match in the UFC Octagon. 

Following the rear naked choke, the crowd erupted in applause as Perrin tapped out. The fighter is a senior in high school, who earned a promotional contract through White’s Contender Series, last summer. Nonetheless, his win seemingly earned him a place in the future bouts. Furthermore, he earned himself a boatload of supporters who would cheer for him in his next fight in the Octagon.
