Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett made his UFC debut with a stunning knockout victory in September 2021. Later, he also won his second fight via a finish in March 2022. Given his run in the promotion and funny persona, many already believe Pimblett to be the next big thing in the promotion.

Fans even compare his rise in the UFC to that of the former two-division champion Conor McGregor. The Irish star has always been fearless, be it inside the cage or on the mic.

‘The Notorious’ always spoke with sheer confidence whenever on the mic and a glimpse of him could be seen in the 16-year-old Pimblett during one of his old interviews.

During the interview, the Liverpudlian answered all the reporters’ questions in an unshrinkable manner. He even predicted a finish in his next fight with confidence. Something we have seen in the young McGregor.

However, the former Cage Warriors champion is still far away from what the Irish star has achieved in the promotion. However, the British MMA star has the potential to reach the spot in the sport.

Who is Paddy Pimblett fighting next in the UFC?

Although the lightweight prospect, Pimblett has become a prominent name in the promotion, he is still far away from the top-15 roster. Hence, he needs to bag some more wins in the game to cement a spot on the 155lbs roster.

That being said, ‘The Baddy’ will soon be returning to action against Jordan Leavitt. ‘The Monkey King’ has only lost one fight in his whole UFC career. Also, he is currently on a two-fight win streak.

Leavitt could serve as a good opponent for the British fighter. The fight will take place on July 23rd in Pimblett’s home country, London, UK. A win here for both is important to rise further in the title race.
