That is 50 million more than their last contract which stood at 200 million dollars. The entire entertainment industry is baffled by the whooping deal except Stephen A. Smith.

In his latest commentary, ͏Smith commended Rogan for his handling of situations and praised his remarkable journey from obscurit͏y to achieving immense success.

Spotify might have dodged a bullet by signing the deal with Joe Rogan. In a groundbreaking multiyear deal, the streaming app has renewed its contract with Rogan with a whopping 250 million dollars. Previously ‘JRE’ was exclusive to Spotify but now under the terms of the contract, ‘JRE” has the immunity to venture into different audio platforms. Nonetheless, eminent sports and television personality, Stephen A. Smith applauds Rogan’s achievement.

While having a conversation on his YouTube handle, Smith took time out of his hands to add a statement congratulating and applauding the 250-million-dollar podcast. “Ladies and gentlemen, I’m going to say something to y’all. I want y’all to listen to me, and I want you to listen to me good. Competition makes the world go around, but so does someone who sets a high standard.”

He further added “Joe Rogan has about damn near 20 million subscribers. Joe Rogan deserves every penny of that deal, and Joe Rogan, before anybody hates – and I’m not saying there’s a whole bunch of haters out there because there’s no reason to – but you never know. Joe Rogan deserves, our respect.”

Smith further explains that Rogan’s decision to venture into podcasting independently is not solely driven by independence but also by the desire to profit. He later explains that he also desires the same respect and profits as Rogan. However, it must be noted that Rogan’s career is filled with rough patches in a recent interaction, the podcaster revealed his journey.

The rough era of Rogan’s podcasting journey

There is hardly any competition for Joe Rogan. The podcaster has already conquered the podcasting realm with his consistency. Rogan’s ability to continuously stay at the top of the charts is mind-blowing but was it always the case for the multi-million dollar podcasting legend? Well nope, even Rogan struggled at his initial stages.
