Marc Goddard was in full control of the UFC 272 co-main event
In the early rounds of the co-main event of UFC 272, Rafael dos Anjos was putting on a brutal beating on Renato Moicano. Hence, at the end of the rounds, referee Marc Goddard had his eyes set on the Moicano corner.
However, Moicano’s corner let their fight continue. Since Moicano’s had a cut just above his eye and his left eye was shutting down, Goddard asked for a doctor’s examination, but Moicano was adamant about continuing. Even the doctor allowed the Moicano to go on.
