With the recent Johnny Depp – Amber Heard verdict finally out, fans and celebrities reacted online, with many of them showing support for the former Pirates of the Caribbean actor. Even UFC megastar Conor McGregor’s coach reacted to this news.

The verdict for the defamation case favored Johnny Depp and instructed Heard to pay a total of $15 million as damages. McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh took to Instagram to react to this news.

Kavanagh shared a picture as an Instagram story of Johnny Depp alongside his lawyer, Camille Vasquez. We see the two smiling in the picture. Kavanagh captioned the pic, “Remember today … you almost caught jack sparrow” referring to a famous Depp dialogue from the Pirates of the Caribbean.

Conor McGregor and Johnny Depp have met before

It may come as a surprise to fans that Conor McGregor and Johnny Depp have met before.

According to ‘Givemesport’, the two bumped into each other at a hotel in Rome. McGregor spent time with the Hollywood actor after attending his son’s christening, for which he was on vacation in Italy.

A video of their interaction has also surfaced on the internet. In the video, McGregor offers Depp some ‘Proper Twelve’, his own whiskey brand. McGregor says, “Do you want some whiskey? Some Proper Twelve, here I will get you a glass.”

To this, Depp replied saying, “It’s not too bad, it’s not too bad.” McGregor seemed to enjoy Depp’s company as the two shared drinks. McGregor even thanked Depp on an Instagram post calling him “a proper gentleman.”

The caption read, “Myself and John Depp enjoying a fine glass of Proper Twelve on the rocks. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality towards my friends and family Johnny! A proper gentleman.”

In the series of pictures posted, we see Depp posing with McGregor, his partner Dee Delvin and his mother, Margaret. McGregor is wearing a beautifully designed golden and blue suit, while Depp is wearing a black on black outfit with a black hat to compliment it.
