Arman Tsarukyan beat Joaquim Silva via TKO at UFC Vegas 75. Tsarukyan and Silva faced each other in the co-main event at UFC Vegas 75. The #8 ranked lightweight star took on the unranked Brazilian in the hopes of climbing higher up the rankings and earn a title shot.

Official decision– Arman Tsarukyan wins via third-round TKO
One of the most promising contenders at 155 lbs, Tsarukyan won four of his last five bouts before UFC Vegas 75. His only loss was a close decision loss to Mateusz Gamrot in June 2022. He got back to winning ways by beating Damir Ismagulov in December 2022.
Tsarukyan has only lost twice in the UFC. He suffered a loss against Gamrot recently while and the other was to the current lightweight champion, Islam Makhachev. A win in Vegas certainly improves his chances of climbing the rankings and redeeming himself.
Meanwhile, ‘Neto BJJ’ had a chance to slingshot himself up the rankings by beating the ranked Tsarukyan.

Tsarukyan kicked off the UFC Vegas 75 co-main with his patented ground game, dominating his opponent on the ground. The 26-year-old amassed more than 4 minutes of ground control within the first round. The second round was a different story. Both fighters stayed on their feet until the Brazilian rocked Tsarukyan with a heavy punch, forcing him to take the fight to the ground again.
Tsarukyan took back control in the third round, completely taking control of the fight and scoring a TKO win with vicious ground and pound over Silva. With the win, Tsarukyan cemented his position as a threat in the lightweight division.
The lightweight co-main event incited some interesting reactions from the fans as well.

Post the win, he issued an ultimatum to Islam Makhachev and called out Michael Chandler for a fight.
