He was the one who voiced ‘Star Wars’ Darth Vader, and ‘The Lion King’s Mufasa. Needless to say, he was one of the few celebrities who shaped many people’s childhood.

And it seems like Dana White was also one of those children. He was indeed one of many who paid their tributes to the legendary actor on social media.

Dana White pays his tribute to the late James Earl Jones

The UFC head honcho is indeed a fan of iconic movies and TV shows. With the sad passing of Earl Jones at the age of 93, White took to his Instagram story and shared a picture of the beloved actor. The text in the IG story read, “JAMES EARL JONES 1931-2024,” and White wrote, “RIP #LEGEND.”

The unfortunate news has been traveling at lightspeed on the internet. However, the cause of death remains unknown. But the fans took solace in knowing that the legendary actor passed away surrounded by his family, at his home in Duchess County, New York.

The sad news was highlighted on social media when Mark Hamill, the man who played the role of Luke Skywalker in the futuristic sci-fi movie series tweeted, “#RIP dad.” It was nothing short of heartbreaking to see Hamill saying his final farewell to the legend who voiced Darth Vader, who was indeed Luke Skywalker’s father. LeVar Burton, known for his performance in ‘Star Trek’ claimed, “there will never be another of his particular combination of graces.”
