McGregor’s other video, where he can be seen performing the ‘spinal waves’, also became a subject matter to Cejudo. According to Cejudo, McGregor has adopted his name ‘king of cringe’ by performing the exercises.

“Conor McGregor might be the real king of cringe if you look at it, he said. When you talk about bringing the macarena back, look at Conor McGregor twerking. I think he’s trying to get elusive here. I get what he’s trying to do, but it’s not his mobility that he needs help with. He needs help on understanding leverage and how to distribute his weight when it comes to getting take down.” Cejudo added.

He’d said, “Conor McGregor, if you want to take your training serious, you have to focus on your entries. You want to disguise what you’re doing, power’s not the key man. You’re precise, it doesn’t take that much to power to knock someone out. Get away from that, study your position and feints. The real distance game, adjust your stance. If you’re able to do that, just maybe you could be a top contender.”
