

Surging UFC strawweight Vanessa Demopoulos recently extended her win streak to three fights. The 34-year-old secured a unanimous decision win over Maria Oliveira at UFC Fight Night 125. In addition to her performances, her post-fight antics are gathering more attention, as she is proving to be quite a catch, literally.

Demopoulos has established jumping into her interviewer’s arms as her trademark celebration. She pulled the gimmick after her latest win as well. During a recent interview, she compared her different post-fight lifts.

After her first UFC win, Demopoulos jumped into the arms of Joe Rogan. For her next two wins, it was former UFC champion, Michael Bisping’s turn. Recently, Demopoulos talked about how Bisping’s second lift was an improvement from the first.

Talking on ‘The MMA Hour’ with Ariel Helwani, Demopoulos said, “Bisping kind of redeemed himself a little bit this last time.” She continued, “He went to go walk away, and I was like, ‘Hey man, Round 2?'”

The former Legacy Fighting Alliance title winner also compared Joe Rogan’s lifts to Michael Bisping’s. She said, “Rogan’s cool, but Bisping did redeem himself. He held me really tight this time. That was dope.”

Demopoulos does not plan to stop her signature move. Speaking of her celebration, ‘Lil Mosnter’ added, “Feel how you feel, but I’m going to jump in your arms. You’re allowed to feel how you feel, but I’m jumping in your arms.”
Demopoulos on her future goals
Demopoulos talked to Helwani about her future goals and it includes more than just racking up wins. The 34-year-old has amassed a 9-4 record after her pro-debut in 2017. She started off in the UFC with a loss. However, the Ohio native won all three of her next fights in 2022.

Speaking of future fight plans, she did not name-drop any preferred opponents. On the other hand, she expressed her desire to return to action in February 2023. Demopoulos also expressed a change of scenery for the venue after she fought both of her last fights at the UFC Apex.
In addition to her career goals, she mentioned her celebratory goals as well. After having jumped into the arms of Rogan and Bisping, Demopoulos wants to complete the set with Paul Felder. She added she expected Felder to interview her at UFC Fight Night 125.
