While talking about the 2012 Olympic games, Rousey advised athletes to carry a condom. In an old interview, she said, “There’s a lot of beautiful people, from a lot of different countries, in the best shape of their life… coming together in one village… My only advice… is condoms. Be safe people!”

The six-time UFC champion has her reasons for this advice. According to her, athletes who are in the perfect shape of their life from all around the world stay together for the game. Therefore, things happen.
“A lot of these people have been training their whole lives and suddenly they’re let loose with unlimited alcohol… some people just go nuts and then go too crazy,” Rousey explained.
“If you doubt me, I would like you to watch the opening ceremony’s videos, then the closing ceremony’s videos, and see the contrast between the two – it’s a little bit funny. Everybody, enjoy yourselves, take it easy, and be safe,” Rousey concluded.
Olympic ace Michael Phelps annoyed Ronda Rousey
As aforementioned, Rousey has competed twice in the Olympics. During the Beijing games in 2008, she was on the American team with multiple-time Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps and other notable sports stars.

It was then that Phelps’ behavior annoyed Rousey. “Get over yourself. All you do is swim. If someone slapped you every single time you jumped in the pool, then I’d have a little more respect,” Rousey said in an interview while sharing her experience.
