Along with her contribution to women’s MMA, Ronda Rousey is also known for her strong views. The former queen of the 135-pound UFC division does not shy away from expressing what she believes in. Similarly, Ronda Rousey was once proud of being included in former US President Donald Trump’s insult list.

The saga began when Donald Trump tweeted after Ronda Rousey’s loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193. In his tweet, Trump mentioned Rousey was not a nice person. He said, “Glad to see that @RondaRousey lost her championship fight last night. Was soundly beaten – not a nice person!”
Following that, The New York Times compiled a list of all people, places, and things Donald Trump insulted. The former 135-pound UFC champion’s name was also included in the list.

However, Rousey did not react to it with anger. In fact, she felt pride in her name being featured in it. She even planned on framing the message from Trump in a prominent place at her house. The 2008 Olympic gold medalist said, “I’m going to frame it. I put my belts on an ottoman, I put my feet on them but that’s going to be on the wall.”
While Rousey seems to be against Trump, UFC superstar Conor McGregor once praised the former UFC President. The Irish superstar who enjoys an excellent relationship with Rousey once even called Trump the GOAT.
UFC superstar Conor McGregor heaps praise on Donald Trump
Conor McGregor is known for his quick rise in the UFC. Throughout his career, ‘Mystic Mac’ has received numerous accolades. Along with his skills and accolades, McGregor is also known for his outspoken nature. ‘The Notorious’ always speaks his mind. Similarly, back in 2020, Conor McGregor showered praises on the former US President.
In 2020, Donald Trump was the President of the United States. Back then, Trump claimed that the African-American unemployment rate had been the lowest in his tenure. Trump made this claim on his Twitter account, which is currently suspended.

Reacting to the same, McGregor labeled Trump as a phenomenal president. ‘The Notorious’ placed Trump above all the others before him. McGregor wrote, “Phenomenal President. Quite possibly the USA . Most certainly one of them anyway, as he sits atop the shoulders of many amazing giants that came before him. No easy feet. Early stages of term also. Incredible. Congrats and Happy Martin Luther King Jr. day America”

Even though Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey seem to share a great relationship, they definitely have different views when it comes to Donald Trump.
