Further, with fighters accusing each other of being on prohibited medications and the fans becoming more aware of such practices, it becomes even more important for the athletes to take these tests.

The USADA tested Petr Yan once again this year (They also visited him in January). The Russian fighter shared this on his Instagram story. Posting a picture of the heavy testing kit, Yan wrote, “Usada you crazy.”

Getting tested is definitely a good thing for the fighter; especially after his rival, Aljamain Sterling has claimed that the Russian was using PED. Hence, ‘No Mercy’ taking the tests and coming out clean looks like a good thing for their upcoming UFC 273 title fight.

Yan and ‘Funkmaster‘ fought at UFC 259, but the bout went a way neither of the fighters would have imagined. As Yan got disqualified for throwing an illegal knee, Sterling became the new UFC bantamweight champion.
