The reason why Shavkat Rakhmonov’s fight was canceled was due to his opponent’s last-moment injury. It was supposed to be the first UFC fight match of 2023.

Now that the fight is canceled, the matchmakers are reportedly looking for a new opponent. Several fans speculate that Rakhmonov will end up going against Khamzat Chimaev.
