Sean O’Malley is all set to defend his bantamweight title against Marlon Vera this week, in what would be O’Malley’s first title defense since clinching the title against Aljamain Sterling. Suga’s title run surely earned him the bantamweight gold and significantly increased his value. There was a time when O’Malley shaved his eyebrows for some money, and now he boasts an ultimate millionaire tag. Nevertheless, his recent revelation about his father has raised some questions from the fans.

Sean O’Malley’s father is Dan O’Malley, a retired narcotics officer. His relationship with his father is good. ‘Suga’ has confessed that his father never stopped him from following his passion. Interestingly, Dan O’Malley confessed that ‘Suga’ hated UFC at some point in time and he never thought his son would be a UFC star. Fast forward to today, O’Malley is a multi-millionaire and a UFC champion. Yet, despite his millionaire status O’Malley wants his father to drive him everywhere he goes!

In a recent confession, O’Malley said “Trying my dad to move down here like a full-time job. Drive me anywhere I want”. O’Malley’s random confession got the attention of fans. Making your father your driver didn’t sit well with the MMA community.
