UFC is full of entertaining fighters and unique personalities. But if one creates a list of the most outspoken and explicit, Sean Strickland and Paulo Costa are two fighters who are going to be on top of it. Both fighters are known for their entertaining social media presence, which often leads to heated exchanges between them and their peers.

Both Costa and Strickland have been in news for their recent comments. Recently, the Brazilian called out ‘Tarzan’ for a potential fight, and the exchange between them on Twitter was nothing short of entertaining.

Sean Strickland in a Twitter war with Paulo Costa

Paulo Costa does not need a potent reason to call out anyone he wants. This is what he did with Sean Strickland. “Hey Red N @SStricklandMMA we let’s fight or what?” Costa asked.

The American’s response to ‘The Eraser’s challenge was full of sarcasm as he compared him to Conor McGregor‘s teammate Dillon Danis. Fans often consider Danis as someone whose talks are bigger than his acts.

Costa, however, wasn’t amused and claimed that UFC officials had confirmed that the 32-year-old was not interested in fighting. However, fans very recently saw Strickland fight in the octagon as he made his light heavyweight debut in January 2023.

Strickland responded by saying that he can fight the Brazilian anywhere, anytime, and even took a dig at the latter’s performance against Luke Rockhold at UFC 278.

“Lmao man I’d fight you in the cage for money and I’d fight you in the parking lot for free…… Luke gave you a hard fight. He doesn’t even qualify as a training partner for me…” Strickland Tweeted.

Sean Strickland’s dig at Luke Rockhold

While the argument was between Strickland and Costa, fans did not expect the 32-year-old UFC fighter to bring Rockhold into the storm. However, this is not the first time ‘Tarzan’ has targeted Rockhold. The 38-year-old and Strickland have been gym mates in the past.

However, things have not been good between the two. Ever since a sparring session between the two went rogue, Strickland has displayed his disliking towards Rockhold numerous times. He also shot some harsh words at the 16-6 record holder when he retired from UFC.
