Sean Strickland’s Tweet Is the Last Thing You’d Expect After His UFC Win Against Jack Hermansson

Despite his controversial personality, fight fans adore Sean Strickland for his sense of humor and fighting style. In front of fans and on social media as well, the middleweight fighter is always his real, uncensored self.

Strickland has previously gotten into trouble due to some controversial statements he’s made on social media. In fact, Instagram deactivated his account for the same reasons. ‘Tarzan’ has been using Twitter to communicate his thoughts with the world since he lost his Instagram handle.

The fighter recently took to Twitter to share his thoughts about his recent bout against Jack Hermansson.

Tarzan‘ beat Jack Hermansson at UFC Fight Night 200 this past weekend via a split decision. The fight was overall an extremely technical one. It didn’t involve much action until the last round. Both fighters were being extremely cautious, which meant that the fight was a not so entertaining affair.

The result of the bout was in Strickland’s favor via a split decision. He seemed to be the one in control throughout the bout. Hermansson didn’t shoot for as many takedowns as he usually does as well. During the final round of the bout, we saw Strickland unleashing some significant strikes, which made the fight a bit more entertaining.

According to Strickland himself, he said that he treated it like a low-level sparring match and was very disappointed with his performance. He then assured fans it won’t happen again and he ‘won’t let the pressure get to him.’

In his octagon interview post his bout at UFC Vegas 47, Strickland seemed extremely disappointed with his performance. Former UFC champion, Michael Bisping, asked him if he agreed with the split decision. Bisping pointed out that he didn’t agree with it himself.

Strickland said,” I mean I disagree. But, he had to land some leg kicks, takedown attempts. I mean I would like to think his face shows the result.”

Strickland also said in the interview that he was being a ‘pansy’ and was not very happy with the fight he put on at UFC Vegas 47.
