Dana White will not have to change any plans for Belal Muhammad‘s first title defense after what transpired at UFC 310. Shavkat Rakhmonov fought all five rounds for the first time in his UFC run, in a competitive clash against Ian Garry. ‘Nomad’ secured the win via unanimous decision, following which he faced off with the champion inside the Octagon. However, Muhammad, on his way to the cage, found himself having an issue with the security.

Joe Rogan was on his post-fight interview duties when Shavkat Rakhmonov asked to call Belal Muhammad for the face-off. ‘Remember the Name’ was seated in the crowd, but when he tried to hop inside the Octagon, he was stopped by security, prompting the longtime commentator to intervene with a hilarious comment on the microphone for everyone to hear. “Security doesn’t know he’s the champ. Let him in,” said Rogan.

Belal Muhammad didn’t seem too affected by the security official for being unaware of his champion status, as he was facing a barrage of jeers from the crowd as he stood face-to-face against the Kazakh phenom.

The welterweight champion may not have found it amusing when he got stopped by security. However, someone who did find this amusing is Conor McGregor, as the former double champion shared a rare tweet amidst his civil lawsuit problems and tuned in to witness the action at UFC 310.

Conor McGregor takes a shot at Belal Muhammad via ‘voice’ post on X

Despite dealing with some serious issues outside the Octagon, Conor McGregor seemed like he was having the time of his life when he saw what happened to Belal Muhammad at UFC 310, cage side. While laughing absurdly at the incident, the Irishman didn’t appear to be surprised by that reaction from the UFC’s security staff and went on an absolute rant about the welterweight champion.

“Look at the state of [Muhammad as a champion]. The security doesn’t know he’s the champ. I am not surprised, motherf***er,” Conor McGregor stated in his recent tweet. “He is an a**hole. Shut your mouth. You really got yourself into the ring and they don’t even know you are the champion.”

Conor McGregor has never had a good relationship with Belal Muhammad’s manager because of his issues with Ali Abdelaziz. They’ve exchanged several verbal barbs in the past so it wasn’t a surprise to see him taking shots at one of his fighters, who he doesn’t seem to like too much. However, it remains to be seen if Muhammad issues a response to McGregor and if it boils down to a full-on verbal war between the two fighters on social media.
