We are slowly but surely approaching the UFC White House event, set to take place on July 4, 2026. While the fights are yet to be confirmed, Dana White has guaranteed to put on a card for the ages. In the meantime, the UFC CEO has released a few renderings about how the event would look, lit up, on the South Lawn. However, he may have an issue at hand, according to veteran ring announcer Bruce Buffer, that he is overlooking at the moment.

Bruce Buffer joined lightweight star Michael Chandler for a discussion on YouTube, where he spoke about Dana White and Co.’s plans for the White House event. While praising the CEO for the massive undertaking, the veteran insinuated that having a massive crowd at the White House may bring with it problems that the UFC has never dealt with before.

Bruce Buffer warns Dana White about the only issue with the UFC White House

When the news about the White House event dropped months ago, people were worried about having an American fighter in the main event. But Bruce Buffer’s recent statement indicates that isn’t the real problem. As he stated, “So, we got the White House show, all planned in the grandiose way it’s going to be planned. We’ve seen the renditions of the Washington Monument in the front, the White House in the back, or vice versa. It’s grandiose. 5,000 people on the White House grounds floor, which I still question because I think it’s going to be a huge security issue.”

The veteran claimed that the real problem lies with housing a crowd inside the premises of the White House. The president’s security staff could prohibit too many people from witnessing the event live. Nevertheless, Buffer has been in the UFC long enough to put his trust in Dana White because he’s convinced that the CEO will make everything happen as he’s planned.

“I have no idea how many people are going to be on the grounds. But next door, they’re going to have the big park and sixty, seventy, eighty thousand, whatever. Dana White can definitely pull it off. He pulls off everything,” the veteran ‘Voice of the Octagon’ added.

Well, the security is not the only issue Dana White has to watch out for. After he shared the renderings for the White House event, there was some criticism from an MMA insider. They believe that the rendition doesn’t “mean anything.”

Reporter weighs in on the White House rendition

Ariel Helwani’s right-hand man, Eric Jackman, aka New York Rick, has covered numerous MMA events in the past, so he had a vested interest in what Dana White had to say after sharing the White House plans. He believes the 56-year-old’s rendition was something similar to Fight Island and nothing original. Jackman claims that White wanted to get people talking about, and he’s been successful in doing that.

“These don’t mean s—t to me… When we were talking about Fight Island, there was a cage on the beach, and we’re going to have the fights, and then that ended up being a training cage, and then they ended up in a tented-off arena,” Jackman told Submission Radio“It’s cute. It’s nice. It’s going to get people talking.” Well, do you agree with his assessment?

We’re still months away from the White House event, and in the course of the next few months, the renditions for the event could go through a few changes. Dana White has promised to make this an event to remember, but do you think he can pull off the event without any hitches? Let us know in the comments section down below.
