The sport of MMA has a lot of contributors to making the sport as great as it is today. Many fans would credit the rise of the sport, be it in popularity or skill, to the fighters and some to the promotions, such as the UFC. Largely, that has been the case for years and decades. However, there are many other contributors who have made the sport the way it is today. These have paved the way for others to follow in their footsteps and organizations such as the UFC have recognized the same.

Chuck Liddell has remembered one such UFC Hall of Fame member on his death anniversary. Moreover, the first nonfighter UFC Hall of Famer was also remembered by MMA faithful as he proved that one doesn’t need to be a fighter to make a difference in the sport.
