Ciryl Gane earned a dominant T/KO finish over Derrick Lewis at UFC 265 to become the interim UFC heavyweight champion. The undisputed champion, Francis Ngannou, kept a close eye on the event, as the winner of the bout would be his next opponent.

Many counted on Lewis to land one of his signature haymakers on Gane. However, ‘Bon Gamin’ proved yet again that he is head and shoulders above the rest of the pack of the heavyweight division. Even Ngannou was impressed by the performance, judging by his reaction.

Both Ngannou and Lewis depend on their power to overwhelm their opponents. However, the champion is significantly more athletic than ‘The Black Beast’. That being said, taking on Gane will not be a simple task for the Cameroonian.

Ngannou showed a much-improved version of his previous self when he defeated Stipe Miocic at UFC 260 to become the champion. Gane, on the other hand, always seems to get better with each fight. There have been no weaknesses on display from him so far.
