Michael Chandler explains his partnership with Hiatus Tequila

Michael Chandler recently appeared on ‘The MMA Hour’, giving details about his new venture. Chandler is also a vocal entity outside the Octagon and has successfully started many businesses. However, with the current investment, his direct competition could include McGregor’s whiskey brand: Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey.

Chandler, while speaking to Ariel Helwani, said, “A little over a year ago, I tried my favorite tequila on the planet called Hiatus Tequila, and I knew from the very first sip I wanted more of it but also wanted to be involved more. So I got in touch with the owner and founder Christopher Disoto and I would like to announce I am an investor and owner of Hiatus. So we are setting out to revolutionize and change the view of what tequila is. Just like I’ve always tried to change the view of what a fighter is.”

Chandler is also working hard inside the Octagon to make sure he fights McGregor on his return. The much-anticipated match was scheduled for 2023 but was postponed to later. When will the fans finally see McGregor vs. Chandler?

McGregor broke his leg during his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. During his recovery period, he left the USADA testing pool and did not join back in time.
