Fighters from both sides have stated that they want to battle each other. Both sports have their own perks, and combatants are eager to capitalize on them within the prime of their careers.
Apart from just wanting to fight each other, there’s also mutual respect between some of them. With that being said, real recognizes real. In line with that, unified world welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr praised the UFC’s welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman.

He trained with my coach before, so he got a little stand-up game. Kind of seen him knock out a few guys with his with his straight right.“
After ‘The Schmo’ asked him whether the fight would end in a knockout or lead to a decision, Spence Jr concluded, “I don’t know, but I know Usman more than I know Canelo, so I would be on Usman’s side for that fight.”
