Dana White does not seem to care very much about the idea of PFL buying Bellator. In November, the Professional Fighters League announced that it had acquired the MMA promotion Bellator. Both of these promotions are direct competitors of Dana White’s UFC.

In a post-event press conference, when asked about his opinion on the deal, White’s response was as rough as it gets. The UFC CEO has previously made a point out of dragging the name of the organization through the dirt. Now, he’s done it again.

Dana White can’t care about PFL and Bellator
White was seated in a press conference after the very successful UFC Fight Night event on December 2nd. There, a reporter asked him his thoughts about PFL purchasing Bellator and White’s natural persona came back to the spotlight. He held nothing back when he said,
Dana White asked about PFL buying Bellator:
One shitty organization that sells no tickets and nobody watches buys another shitty organization that sells no tickets and nobody watches. Sounds like a fucking winner to me.#UFC pic.twitter.com/ZJYIu36xSe

“One shitty organization that sells no tickets and nobody watches buys another shitty organization that sells no tickets and nobody watches. Sounds like a fucking winner to me boy.” Clearly, there is animosity between him and the other two competitors.

Do you think the move could be profitable for both of the promotions? It certainly could bring together two massive fandoms. The PFL has already taken the likes of Francis Ngannou away from the UFC. In fact, that has been one of the most popular moves by the organization.

So of course things are sour between White and the PFL. He doesn’t have great ties with Bellator either. He doesn’t see the promotion as a worthy competitor. He’s previously said things like “Why on God’s green f*cking Earth would anybody buy Bellator“. It would appear someone does want it and has bought it too.

White has put Bellator on blast before.
When the news of Bellator being bought by the PFL came to light, similar questions were asked to a very disgruntled Dana White. Back then, the price put on the promotion sounded rather affordable to the UFC CEO who has a net worth that crosses hundreds of millions of dollars.

“I’ll sit back and see how this plays out. I’m excited. … Bellator is $500 million? Awesome, sounds like a steal. Sounds like a f*cking steal. Buy that thing quick before – who else does? Come on, guys. This is f*cking silly – silly.” He had said back then. And now, his stance remains the same. Will White ever appreciate either of the two promotions?
