Kevin Ferguson, a.k.a Kimbo Slice, epitomized the essence of a fearsome fighter during his time. With a hulking physique and a raw, unyielding intensity, he instilled fear in the hearts of opponents and spectators alike. In the world of mixed martial arts, Slice’s journey took him to the UFC, where he left an indelible mark. Despite a brief stint in the organization, his electrifying matches captivated audiences worldwide. He also featured in season 10 of The Ultimate Fighter, one of it’s most memorable seasons, due in no small part to Kimbo’s inclusion.

Not limited to MMA, the Bahamian mixed martial artist also ventured into the realm of boxing, bare-knuckle fighting, as well as acting. Tragically, in 2016, Slice’s life was cut short by a sudden congestive heart failure, leaving a void in the fighting world.

As the conversation unfolded, Rogan interjected with an intriguing fact, stating, “He was like the first guy to become popular from internet videos.” Adding to the discourse, Rutten expressed the ubiquitous recognition Slice garnered, emphasizing, “You can’t walk on the street with that guy. Everybody knows him.”
