The UFC’s first-ever welterweight champion Pat Miletich is planning to return to cage fighting at age 55. ‘The Croatian Sensation’ will take on Ex-UFC fighter Mike ‘The Truth’ Jackson at Caged Aggression MMA. However, the announcement of this fight has failed to generate excitement among fans. Instead, they have expressed their concerns regarding the Hall of Famer.
Pat Miletich was one of the pioneers of the welterweight division in the UFC. He competed in several promotions during his active MMA career but made his mark in Dana White‘s promotion and became a Hall of Famer. Miletich had his last fight in 2008. However, he has decided to come out of retirement to fight in a sanctioned MMA bout against a much younger Mike Jackson.
#UFC Hall of Famer Pat Miletich (55) will fight Mike Jackson (38) in Davenport, Iowa on Oct. 14 for the Caged Aggression MMA promotion.

Mike Jackson became famous for his controversial fight against professional wrestler CM Punk (Phil Brooks) in 2018. Furthermore, Miletich even cornered Jackson in that fight. But they are not on good terms anymore. Their relationship since has deteriorated into animosity. Regarding their fight, Miletich and Jackson will compete for three rounds. Each round will have five minutes, and it will be a 175-pound catchweight bout. Meanwhile, this news doesn’t come as a shock but is rather disturbing for fans. Just a few days ago, Mark Coleman also announced that he’ll be returning to the world of combat sports. Fans have voiced their displeasure about these fights on social media. Let us see what they had to say about Miletich’s return.
