The draft includes recommendations addressing topics such as white privilege. Soon enough, this news caught the attention of McGregor, who had a fiery response.

According to Gript, this curriculum is mainly about the addition of Allyship skills. It has sparked intense debate in Ireland. Many critics are expressing concerns about the inclusion of these topics in the education system. One notable voice that joined the discussion is Conor McGregor.

“Is this true? If so it is preposterous. “No blacks, No dogs, No Irish.” We were bottom of the list. Below dogs. What is this madness! Shame on this.” The former UFC champ’s reaction conveyed a sense of frustration and disapproval.

McGregor said this via a quoted retweet that has since been deleted. The 35-year-old was responding to a tweet that accused Education Minister Norma Foley of introducing “radical American critical race theory” into Irish schools. The tweet questioned the appropriateness of teaching Irish children about white privilege, suggesting that such ideas have no place in the country’s educational institutions.
