Joe Rogan’s record is challenged by Shannon Sharpe.

Do you want to know how big Joe Rogan’s podcast is? Well, Spotify finalized a deal with the podcaster at the start of the year, and the value of the deal was 250 million dollars. The cherry on top was that Rogan had the helm in the deal all along. Previously, Rogan was bound by a contract that prevented him from releasing his podcasts on platforms other than Spotify. However, those restrictions have now been waived.

Joe Rogan’s most-viewed podcast episode was the one in which he interviewed philanthropist, billionaire, and tech mogul Elon Musk. The interview got so many views that you can fill more than 60 football fields. To be precise, he got approximately 68,458,561 views on his podcast. Currently, Joe Rogan has the record for the world’s most-viewed podcast episode, but it seems like the record is about to be broken.

Former American football tight end and podcaster Shannon Sharpe is just moments away from ousting Joe Rogan’s record. Sharpe recently had a 3-hour-long conversation with one of the best comedians of all time, Katt Williams, on his podcast ‘Club Shay Shay’ and this episode seems to be on the way to making history. Sharpe’s new episode is just 25000 views away from breaking Rogan’s record. Their latest episode currently has 68,434,040 views, and it’s growing faster than expected.

Shannon Sharpe is just moments away from leveling Rogan, and well, Williams is getting traction from the netizens, and it seems like the 200 million-dollar man is about to invite the comedian over to ‘JRE’.

Kate Williams on ‘JRE’?

While having the conversation with Shannon Sharpe, Williams emphasized that he would like to be a part of the ‘JRE’ show, but Rogan won’t let that happen. He further emphasized that ‘JRE’ had its share of bad comedians in it, and it was time for Rogan to act up. “If you were a comedian that cussed, you were ridiculed by the mainstream comedy-geist. That would be like me being on Joe Rogan. Joe don’t want me on there. I need to be on Shannon. Joe got six comedians that never been funny he wanna push out. But that’s really how it is.”

After being caught in the crossfire by Williams, it is just normal for Rogan to feel compelled to issue a statement. Taking to his social media, the 56-year-old added that he would like to express his willingness to invite Williams to his podcast. “I love Katt. He’s one of my favorite comics and I’d love to have him on. We talk about him all the time. If he’s down I’ll make it happen,” wrote Rogan on X.

Katt Williams has yet to say anything about Rogan’s statement, but there’s a high possibility that he will be coming to ‘JRE’. What’s your opinion on the records? State your thoughts in the comments below.
