The bantamweight division of the UFC has always been one of the most noted divisions. With Aljamain Sterling currently holding the belt, the division has a number of notable fighters. Sean O’Malley is one of them who is well-known for his brutal leg kicks and distinguished looks. ‘Sugar’ grabs a lot of attention due to his weird hair colors, which keep on changing. He is also a thorough social media enthusiast and boasts a whopping 2.4M followers on his Instagram account.

But, recently one of his posts received a lot of reactions from his fans. ‘Sugar’ O’Malley posted 3 snaps where he was seen with the famed TV presenter, Steve Harvey, famous Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal in it.

O’Malley captioned his Instagram post, “Abu Dhabi has been awesome. Can’t wait to beat up Peter”. He was evidently restless for his bout against the Russian, Petr ‘No Mercy’ Yan, scheduled for the 22nd of this month at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi.

Fans reacted to Sean O’Malley’s pictures

Despite some wholesome comments, a majority of the fans chose to deride Shaquille O’Neal’s ‘antique’ Motorola mobile phone. This was because he could purchase any phone owing to his $400 million net worth.

One of the fans even refused to recognize both Harvey and Sean O’Malley in his post.

A fan wrote, “Wow thats legendary… I can’t believe Shaq still owns a Motorola”. He was bewildered at the NBA legend still using a very outdated Motorola mobile phone.

Another follower mocked as he wrote, “Shaq hasn’t upgraded his phone since his first NBA contract”. There was quite some sneering about ‘Shaq’s’ phone, which appeared to be old enough.

A social media user took the joke to the next level by not recognizing the individuals in the picture. “Holy sh*t its Daniel Cormier, Jorge Masvidal, and Jairzinho Rozenstruik!!”.

The user intentionally mistook Steve Harvey for Daniel Cormier, owing to the similarity between their appearances, especially the bald head. Ranveer Singh was named Jorge Masvidal by him, probably due to their similar hairstyle. Lastly, ‘Shaq’ was named Jairzinho Rozenstruik sighting the resemblance between their appearances, and obviously the ‘bald head’. His comment had some others bursting into laughter.

A fan straightaway predicted the fight against O’Malley’s favor. He commented, “You’re getting ko’d my man”.

“I swear on my life i just had a dream about sean knocking out peter”, wrote another.
