Shaquille O’Neal is one of the biggest sporting personalities around the world who’s maintained his huge fan following even post-retirement. Apart from his legendary NBA status, his lifestyle, panache, and his knack for humor have helped him stay relevant.

At 50, ‘Shaq’, as he’s lovingly called, can break the internet with his hilarious clips from past and present. In one such instance, Shaquille O’Neal ‘knocked out’ UFC fighter Chuck Liddell and left viewers in stitches.

In this 12-year-old video, ‘Shaq’ looked livid, as he claimed he could take on anybody. He said, “We don’t care about nobody, we’ll fight anybody.” 

Shortly after, the camera turned to his left and revealed a lifeless cardboard cutout of the former UFC champ, Chuck Liddell, in the frame. “I’ll even fight him,” announced ‘Shaq’ with a poker face while pointing at Liddell’s cutout.

He then referenced the Jose Canseco vs Hong-man Choi MMA fight, where the retired baseball player battled the ‘Korean Colossus’ and tapped out within two minutes.

‘Shaq‘ first challenged Hong-man Choi and said, “After I fight the big boy that knocked out Jose Canseco… Hong-man Choi… That’s your name? I’m coming for you… I’m retiring next year two years… coming for you” 

“Chuck’s my goblin… Not today,” said the NBA star, who threw an arm at Liddell’s cutout and sent it to the floor. He then began commentating on his ‘knockout’ as he went to secure a submission.

“Shaq knocked Chuck out! Shaq knocked Chuck out. Chuck taps out, Chuck taps out and Shaq doesn’t even touch him.”

And to top it off, Shaquille O’Neal pecked the lips of the cutout of Chuck Liddell and said, “Chuck quit! Chuck quit! Shaq kisses him… Shaq kisses him on the mouth. Oh my God! Disrespecting the UFC!!!”

‘Shaq’ is a wholesome character who loves to enjoy every moment, on or off-court. He often appears on TV shows, interviews, and comedy gigs and has made his on-screen presence a common occurrence.

In another video with a UFC fighter, albeit a real one this time, he can be seen learning Jorge Masvidal’s devastating flying-knee move from the man himself. Quite surprisingly, he almost pulled it off despite his huge body structure.

The legendary basketball player has also appeared at WWE in the past. Also, he even choked Hulk Hogan during an ad shoot.
