Joe Rogan opens up about his “evil” teacher

Recently, in episode #2007 of JRE, Rogan revealed yet another distressing incident from his past. This time, it involved his catholic school teacher. Recounting his time as a young child, he shared that everyone in his life, including his parents and grandparents, had been kind and loving.

“Everyone was nice to me. I was 5-6 years old. My parents were nice to me, my grandparents were nice to me. And then all of a sudden I am in a room with this lady who is representing God.”

However, his experience with a particular teacher at his school was far from positive. Rogan described her as “evil” and recounted how she seemed to derive pleasure from making children cry.

“And she is f*cking evil. She is mean, she wants you to cry. She would try to get kids to cry. It was weird. Going to that Catholic school, I was like ‘Maybe it’s God but this lady is not doing the work of God’.”

What did Joe Rogan say about his father?

Years ago, in episode #118 of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Rogan talked about his father for the first time. He shared that his real father was an extremely volatile and aggressive individual, causing significant emotional and physical harm to those around him.

“All my damage sh*t came from my real father before I was seven. My real father was crazy, he was like a psychotic person.”

Moreover, he even recounted witnessing physical violence at his home. “He beat the f-k out of my mother, he beat the f-k out of my cousin. He picked my cousin up by his hair, dude.”
