UFC President Dana White recently sat down for a candid chat with BroBible. Among many things discussed was how celebrities are getting involved in the UFC.

Many mainstream sports stars and pillars of the entertainment world have been massive followers of the UFC. White opened up on that.

Two notable big-name UFC fans are NFL star Tom Brady and actress Halle Berry. “Yeah, Brady and I talk, you know, at least once a week. We’ve been friends for a while and I’m a huge, massive Brady fan. And a Patriots fan. And now a Bucs fan.

“So yeah, yeah, the celebrity thing is as been has been a fun part of you know, a lot of these celebrities become absolutely addicted to the sport,” said White.

You know, a lot of these guys train in jujitsu or Muay Thai or whatever it is, and you know, Halle Berry. I mean, Halle Berry has got to be the last person on earth you would expect to be a huge UFC fan. She is obsessed with UFC, her and Valentina Shevchenko have become super close,” he added.

You know, I think they talk all the time and Halle will hit me up, the day of Shevchenko’s fight telling me how nervous she is. Whatever last time Shevchenko won  I faceTimed Halle and brought it back to her in the in the medical tense. So yeah, it’s it’s fun,White said further.

Shevchenko is one of the greatest female athletes in the history of the UFC. She is the current holder of the flyweight championship of the world. Berry is undoubtedly one of the most followed celebrities in the world. So, it’s a crossover that fans cherish for sure.

Will Dana White ever let celebrities fight in the UFC?

The chances of celebrities ever stepping foot in the Octagon are slim to none. It needs a lifetime of dedication and hard work to be on a platform like the UFC. However, fans have also seen the likes of CM Punk fighting inside the Octagon.

With a promotion like UFC, nothing is ever off the table. So, what happens in the future is something that remains to be seen. But super fans like Halle Berry only escalate the company’s status.
