Every person goes through personal troubles. So did the Irish fighter’s mother. UFC superstar Conor McGregor adores his mother. He has seen her struggle and overcome those challenges. Back in 2020, the fighter spoke about his mother, Margaret Moore McGregor.

He spoke about how his mother inspired him to correct himself. He said, “I have been very proud of my mother recently and she was actually going through some things and she came through it with flying colours and now she’s like a completely new woman.”

“When I see this, my mother is at the top, seeing her correct, she wasn’t telling me: ‘Conor, do this, do that’ because that will make you almost rebel against it.”

In one of his interviews, he also said, “What she did was she led by example. I saw my mother in the great light she was in and I was in awe of it.” (h/t Irish Mirror)

It is no secret that Conor McGregor wants a title fight upon his return. While many have argued that he should first fight a few times before a title shot. The promotion has already booked Charles Oliveira versus Justin Gaethje for UFC 274. So many would be curious to see if McGregor gets to fight the winner of that bout.
