Losing a loved one is a profoundly challenging experience, but witnessing them slowly deteriorate is an even more agonizing journey. Death is an inherent part of the human condition, and no one has the power to evade it. In the unvarnished truth of reality, even UFC’s heartthrob, Laura Sanko, has not been spared from its grasp.

The UFC Commentator recently had to witness and go through a nerve-wrenching event surrounding her family which left her in tears. let us understand the reason behind it.

Certain relationships are made from heaven and are not limited by blood, such relationships often grow stronger with time, and leaving them breaks something inside of you. Similarly, Laura Sanko is going through a heartbreaking journey. The UFC commentator recently penned down a heartbreaking message on her Instagram.

Sanko took to her Instagram handle to post a video of her best friend’s mother’s last moments. She captioned the post with a long message. She stated ” Claudia’s time on earth is ending and she is being called home to be with the Lord. She is my best friend’s mom whom I have known all my life. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in her late 50s and it has been a difficult journey for her and her family to navigate since. The grief of these last few days is, in many ways, secondhand for me. She’s not my mom …but I love her daughter so so much”

Down in the post, Sanko admired her friend’s bravery in standing by both of her parents losing to diseases. In the end, Sanko added that she will always be there for her friend.

Laura Sanko down in the conversation admired her friend’s resolve to stay strong even in these harsh times. Sanko stated that her friend is not new to facing grief as she has already lost her father in her teens.

Sanko narrated, “Summer lost her dad to cancer when we were teenagers. Grief is not new to her. But despite all that she has lost in an earthly sense, she is the embodiment of this song. If you ask her how she has handled losing both her parents to hideous slow-moving diseases”

She further added “She will still speak of the goodness of God. It is her father’s legacy, her mother’s legacy and it will be her legacy one day as well…that so many were introduced to God’s love and mercy through them …love you”
