Laura Sanko, former MMA fighter and now UFC desk analyst, recently shared an interesting post on her official Instagram account.
The voice of Dana White’s Contender Series, Laura Sanko, has become a prominent name in UFC. Notably, Sanko’s portfolio boasts a fair share of professional fights in the past. And although she is currently not fighting, Sanko is winning hearts by lending her voice to one of the biggest promotions in the fight industry.

With a vast fandom following her, the 39-year-old is frequently active on social media. Sanko mostly posts bits from her professional and personal life on her Instagram.

Earlier, ‘Fancy’ shared her video after a good sparring session. In the video, it was clearly visible that Sanko got bruises on her face after sparring inside the gym. However, in the post that followed, she is seen without any bruises. Moreover, she explained the tale behind the whole makeover in the caption.

Following that, Sanko did her job of presenting the UFC fight night event featuring Holly Holm and Ketlen Vieira without a visible bruise. However, she had a hilarious encounter with an object that tried to ‘steal her shine’ at the event.

“Skinny a** h*e showed up at the fights in the same outfit trying to steal my shine …nah bish.” Sanko wrote in the caption.
Laura Sanko desires to get back to fighting
Even though the woman in spotlight has retired from professional fighting, she desires to get back into the cage one more time. Sanko believes she could have had a solid career in the UFC.
“Paige VanZant and I debuted on the same card, same night, we both got wins, both got finishes. I know that if there had been an atomweight division in the UFC. I know that I could have gone on to have a solid career in the UFC.” Sanko said to The Volume Sports.

“There’s no doubt in my mind. There’s not that much footage of me out there fighting. And I’m so much better than the footage that does exist.” Sanko added.

“That’s the irritating part because my growth as a fighter really happened after I quit competing actively. So there’s definitely a part of me that wants to get back to some form of competition just to prove to people I’m about that life.” Sanko concluded.

Sanko had an impressive amateur fighting career of 4-1 under her name. Later, she made her professional debut in a famous female MMA venture, Invicta FC, in 2013. She only fought once in her professional MMA career and won the fight via a finish.

However, Sanko retired after a 1-0 record under her belt. Nevertheless, ‘Fancy’ is doing great, holding the mic for the sport she loves.
