Last year was a weird one as because of the pandemic, everything had come to a halt. Everything was affected because of Covid-19, and UFC was no different. However, as most sports faced losses because of the pandemic, the UFC not only dealt with it but thrived in the pandemic.

Now, though, the UFC has again done something great by allowing fans to be present at UFC 264. And seeing the ticket sales, we can say that the fans have responded with great enthusiasm.

What to expect from the UFC 264 event?

UFC 264 promises to be a great one, as there are some brilliant matches lined up for the night. The event has a match scheduled between Gilbert Burns and Stephen Thompson, which is going to be vital for the welterweight division.

The event will also feature a fight between Jennifer Maia and Jessica Eye, and a heavyweight fight between Tai Tuivasa and Greg Hardy. Although the biggest event of the night is certainly going to be the main event.

The rematch between the two fighters happened 7 years later at UFC 257 on January 24, 2021. This time around, Poirier won the fight via TKO. With the score settled at 1-1 fans were eagerly waiting for the third fight. Now the third fight will take place at UFC 264 and that too in the presence of more than 20,000 live fans.
