Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier faced each other for the third time at UFC 264. Poirier won this fight via a 1st round TKO (doctors stoppage) to claim the trilogy by 2-1. This fight was one of the most anticipated fights of the year and even though the fight lasted just 1 round, it was a treat to watch.

While the fight was entertaining and provided fans with excitement till it lasted, the thing that caught the attention of everyone was McGregor’s trash talk towards Dustin Poirier. Even during the post-fight interview with Joe Rogan, McGregor started commenting on Poirier’s wife and was also pushing for a 4th fight.

Now, during a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Poirier was asked about the same. Helwani asked ‘The Diamond’ about how he felt after the fight ended and ‘Notorious’ started his trash talk. Poirier replied, “I felt like I just won. It is what it is. What a promoter the guy is, sitting there holding a gumpy leg and setting up fight’s and still talking trash.”
